Congratulations of Your Retirement, Records Supervisor Marsha Dell

Posted on April 16, 2015 at 8:55 a.m. by johnb johnb

Last week, the Brea Police Department said goodbye to a very dedicated and valuable member of our police family. Records Supervisor Marsha Dell is retiring after 30 years of service to the department. Marsha began her career in 1985 as a part-time Records Clerk, became full-time in 1993, and eventually rose through the ranks of Police Records to become Records Supervisor in 2001.

Over the past 14 years as Supervisor, Marsha has made immeasurable positive impacts on the operations of Brea Police Records and the Police Department in general. She has become a recognized expert in police records management, and established herself as a highly respected supervisor within the department. Marsha has overseen the implementations of two Records Management Systems, has overhauled and improved the system for collection and storage of property and evidence, created multiple auditing systems within the department, and managed large scale space remodels of both Police Records and the Property and Evidence unit.

Above all, we will miss Marsha’s eternally positive attitude, welcoming demeanor, and the incredible energy she brought to work each and every day. Congratulations on your retirement, Marsha!
