Welcome, Officer Anthony Nguyen

Posted on May 7, 2015 at 9:35 a.m. by johnb johnb

Yesterday, the Brea Police Department welcomed another addition to our police family. Officer Anthony Nguyen was sworn in as Brea’s newest police officer. Officer Nguyen grew up in Orange County and currently resides in the City of Garden Grove. He graduated from Garden Grove High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree from California State University-Fullerton. Officer Nguyen graduated earlier this year from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Basic Training Academy. He was a classmate of current Brea Police Officer Ryan McDuffy.

Officer Nguyen has extensive volunteer experience borne from strong family values and a desire to help others, which is what drew him to law enforcement. He is fluent in Vietnamese. He enjoys outdoor sports and working on cars.

Please join us in welcoming Officer Anthony Nguyen!
