2014 Police Department Annual Report

Posted on June 24, 2015 at 7:18 a.m. by johnb johnb

Last month, the department released the 2014 Annual Report. This is a 35 page, photo filled document designed to recap the department’s activity in 2014. It includes a message from Chief Conklin, a review of crime statistics during 2014, and an overview of the structure and members of the department. We also honor those department members who received special awards during the year and recognize members who retired from the department in 2014.

This year’s Report also makes special recognition of the department’s volunteer core. 2014 was the Year of the Volunteer in Brea, and the police department has certainly benefitted from the dedicated volunteers that work with us on a daily basis. In the 2014 Annual Report you can read about Domestic Violence Victim Advocate Roberta DeArman, our Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS), Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES). Each of our volunteers makes a tremendous contribution to the department and Brea community, and we thank them for their service.

The Annual Report is available for online viewing at breapolice.net.
