Brea PD Welcomes Officer Ryan McDuffy

The Brea Police Department recently welcomed its newest police officer, Officer Ryan McDuffy. Officer McDuffy graduated from the Orange County Sheriff’s Basic Police Academy on January 15, concluding six months of rigorous training in law, tactics, communication, physical fitness, and other very important areas of law enforcement.

Officer McDuffy was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and worked in the federal criminal justice system before coming to Brea PD, where he now begins a 16 week field training program. Please join us in welcoming Officer McDuffy to the Brea community.
