Meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month
Established by state law, the Planning Commission's primary function is to study proposed developments that may have an impact on the community's growth and environment. This commission ensures that proposed developments will meet the City of Brea's technical, environmental and aesthetic standards. The Commission holds public hearings to review plans to ensure that they comply with the City's zoning regulations and General Plan for development. The five-member commission meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
The Commission receives support from the Development Services Planning Staff, a full-time, professional staff which includes current and advanced planning.
