The Community Services Department means many different things to many different people. We are proud to offer a wide range of services for our local and regional communities. The Recreation Services Division, the Arts and Human Services Division, and the Brea Community Center serve the interests of every age group. Community Services is also the host of several popular special events like the July 4th County Fair and BreaFest in August. These special events bring the community together and help to celebrate Brea as a special place.

Community Services Director Chris Emeterio has worked for the City of Brea since 1982, when he was hired as a Community Services Leader. Throughout his career, Chris worked in a number of Community Services divisions in various positions

Outreach Underway for Tracks at Brea Trail

The upcoming Tracks at Brea Trail project has been moving ahead in phases. With the transition into summer of 2013 a new public outreach effort gets underway and soil remediation work happens in one of the trail sections.
