The Administrative Services Department provides a wide range of services to both residents and internal staff. The department consists of four divisions, Finance, City Clerk, Human Resources and Information Technology.
Administrative Services Director Bill Gallardo was promoted to Financial Services Director in August 2004. Prior to his appointment, Bill served as Brea's Financial Services Manager. In May 2010, as part of a reorganization plan to streamline city operations, an Administrative Services Department was created that comprised of the former Financial Services Department, Human Resources Department, plus the Information Technology Division.
