Annual Permit Needed for Overnight On-Street Parking
For public safety,code and aesthetic purposes, on-street parking is by permit only between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 a.m. Annual parking permits for residents with qualifying situations are available for purchase. These expire on December 31 of each calendar year.

An online service for purchasing overnight parking permits is available. Residents are strongly encouraged to submit their application online rather than making a trip to the Civic & Cultural Center.

Utilizing A Temporary Parking Permit
Brea does offer an option for residents to self-issue a temporary, short-term permit that may be needed for a guest using overnight on-street parking.

On-Street Parking Is Restricted for Street Sweeping
Parking is restricted on Brea public streets to accomodate weekly street sweeping which occurs between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m throughout residential tracts. Signs are posted at the entrances into neighborhoods indicating which day of the week and the two-hour time period in which sweeping has been scheduled for that particular area.
